One of the main activities of Salamis Group is Outgoing Travel, which operates under the auspices of the Xenos Group. Xenos sells its product through a 60-page colour brochure offering group travel to 51 different destinations worldwide and a 24-page colour brochure dedicated to the Greek Islands [offering ca. 20 islands]. During 1999, Xenos Group moved 9.000 pax whereas so far, for the year 2000, the number increased to 14.000 pax. It is estimated that the Xenos Group presently transports a market share of 25% of Cyprus organised travel. It is indicative that 12% of the overall BSP sales in Cyprus are effected by Xenos.

Xenos helped establish travel as part of the life of the average Cypriot by offering holidays to remote places as charter destinations. It is thanks to Xenos that Cypriots have ''learned'' to travel abroad.
It is this outgoing tour operator who first realized the hunger of the Cypriot traveller to explore, to travel to more remote and exotic destinations, places that up till then could only be visited in the wildest of fantasies of the Cypriot traveller.
Through Xenos' devotion and innovative approach, by offering more attractive and more affordable holiday destinations to the Cypriot public at large, by creating alliances and close co-operation with other serious incoming agencies abroad, the love of detail and attention to the rights and wishes of the traveller, they managed to gain the trust of the Cypriot traveller and to create repeaters who, time and again, entrust Xenos with the organisation and execution of their most valuable days of the year.

Through its fourteen Points of Sale located all over Cyprus, Xenos offers the following services:

• Hotel Accommodation all over the world
• Car Rental
• Organised Package Tours
• Special Honeymoon Packages
• Night Clubs (Athens)
• Travel Insurance
• Cruises

Hotels - Athens

The continuously increasing wave of Cypriots travelling to Greece, the upcoming Olympic Games in Athens and the market trends soon made plausible to the Group that gaining control over a considerable amount of beds in Greece was a sine qua non situation. Today the Xenos Group is negotiating the acquisition of several hotels in Athens, thus enlarging, improving and diversifying the palette of choice offered by the Xenos Group to its guests and partners travelling to Athens.
